Introducing MetaDos

MetaDOS is an upcoming free-to-play-to-own  Battle Royale game that introduces a unique gameplay mechanic called “time-as-currency.” In this game, players are given a limited amount of time to fight and survive, and when their time runs out, they die. To continue playing, players must earn more time by looting from knocked-down enemies and special locations within the game.

However, time is not only crucial for survival but also serves as a currency within the game. Players can use the time they earn to buy weapons, ammo, armor, and other supplies to increase their chances of survival. They can also give time to their knocked-down teammates, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation.

Managing time becomes a critical aspect of gameplay as players must balance their time between survival and progression to avoid running out of time and dying. This unique mechanic adds an extra layer of strategy and decision-making to the Battle Royale genre.

MetaDOS boasts a diverse roster of hunters, each with their own distinct personality, strengths, and abilities. Let’s take a closer look at some of the hunters in the game:

Solana: Born into an assassin Yakuza family, Solana’s identity is her pure assassination skill. She is a deadly knife, a living weapon, who walks into the shadows and executes her targets in silence. Her skills include:

• Shadow Walk (Passive): Solana can move without making any noise and reduces the noise level when running.
• Into the Void (Ultimate): Solana can teleport to a targeted location, leaving a decoy behind.

Tether: A charming bounty hunter, Tether takes out targets with deadly precision and knows how to get out of danger. He’s a blow-up-first, ask-questions-later kind of guy, always looking for a good scrap. His skills include:

• Fast Engage (Passive): Tether has increased magazine capacity and faster reload times when using LMGs.
• Lovely Bodyguard (Ultimate): Tether can deploy a self-building rotary cannon that automatically tracks and attacks enemies.

Cardano: Once a kind scientist, Cardano’s envy of Avax’s success has driven him to the brink of delusion. He is desperate to prove his talent to the rest of the world. His skills include:

• Combat Revive (Passive): Cardano can throw a vial of chemicals to revive teammates, leaving him free to defend.
• Gas Cloud (Ultimate): Cardano can throw a bottle of toxic gas, dealing 5 damage per second to enemies while also healing allies.

These are just a few examples of the diverse hunters available in MetaDOS. Each hunter brings their own unique playstyle and abilities, allowing players to choose the one that suits their preferences.

The game also offers a cosmetic-based economy where all collectibles are limited to cosmetic items such as skins, takedown animations, and artworks. Players can earn these collectibles through gameplay or purchase them through in-app purchases or battle pass rewards. This ensures a fair and balanced approach to the game’s microtransactions.

MetaDOS features four types of in-game currency: $SECOND (the main currency), Time Coin (hard currency), Hunter Token (soft currency), and Crafting Shard. This currency system allows players to acquire various in-game items and progress through the game at their own pace.

The development team behind MetaDOS consists of industry veterans with experience in popular gaming franchises such as League of Legends, Modern Combat, and Blade & Soul, Hero and Empires, Captain Strike. They have also partnered with Ava Labs, Seedify, and Appota to strengthen the game’s ecosystem and provide a seamless gaming experience.

With its unique time-as-currency mechanic, diverse roster of hunters, and focus on esports, MetaDOS aims to offer intense battles and engaging gameplay for both casual and competitive players. Players can expect a fresh and exciting take on the Battle Royale genre with this upcoming game.

MetaDos: Our journey into Web3 was inspired by a vision of a gaming landscape that’s more immersive, decentralized, and player-centric. Our incredible team at MetaDos is driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible in gaming.

MetaDos: Players can look forward to a variety of exciting updates and additions coming to MetaDos in 2024! From a free mint campaign at the end of this month to an IDO event next month, followed by token releases, beta version launches, tournament, and even the highly anticipated mobile version rollout, there’s a lot in store for our community. These updates will enhance the overall gameplay experience, providing players with more opportunities to engage, compete, and connect within the MetaDos universe.

Regarding the full public release, currently we have the Alpha version available on Stream, our team is working diligently to ensure that MetaDos meets the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction and release the Beta version soon. While we don’t have an exact date to share just yet, rest assured that we’re making steady progress towards the public launch.
